Children’s Education

Education is a fundamental right of every child and leads to greater opportunities in the future in terms of productivity and improved social economic status. We therefore invest in the children of our communities by sponsoring local students in their school fees and other educational needs.
Orphans and vulnerable children are less likely to attend school. Although the success of Uganda Universal Primary education policy continues to stand out, the overall picture in our areas of intervention is that most vulnerable children are still the least likely to be receiving an education. This situation is most pronounced in areas that were affected by HIV/AIDS where orphans and vulnerable children, and particularly girls are much more likely to not be in school compared to other children.
Our passion is to improve the lives of poorest children through education support, health, nutrition, child protection and advocacy. We work with area schools to help provide these needs.

Community Development

Sprout Care Foundation aims to improve our community and the lives of the community members. One of the ways we do this is through our community development projects. Currently SCF works in 14 villages and towns, in three subcounties in the Rakai District of Uganda, with intent to work in more. SCF is currently active in Lwankoni, Kalisizo Rural and Kalisizo Town subcounties. We provide help and information in regards to HIV/AIDS, waste management, child abuse prevention and more. We aim to help the poorest of the poor. There is much more that we wish to do but are limited by the availability of funds.
